Fire Prevention Board of Appeals

The Fire Prevention Board of Appeals was established by Council ordinance as a Board of Appeals to review grievance regarding the decisions of the Fire Marshal.

Membership: 

Five members and two alternates, appointed by the City Council. Members shall have expertise in building construction and fire safety standards. No more than one member or alternate shall be engaged in the same business profession, or line of endeavor.

Term of office: 

Three years

Meeting schedule: 

As needed on first Wednesday of each Month; 3:00 p.m. at City Hall
