Larry B. Johnson was elected to represent District 4 in 2008. District 4 includes areas surrounding Bayou Texar, including East Pensacola Heights, Cordova Park and East Hill. Larry represents the City Council on the BARC, the Escambia County Tourist Development Council and the Pensacola Escambia Development Commission of the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.

Larry is the former owner of Airport Mini Warehouses, Inc. and has been involved successfully with several other business ventures in real estate, nursing homes, motels and restaurants

Larry serves on the Board of Emerald Coastkeeper Inc., a local environmental organization, where he has led efforts to preserve and protect our local waterways and historic trees. For the past 25 years, he has been active in the community also serving on several other community groups, including Loaves & Fishes, St. Anne’s Round-up, Downtown Improvement Board, Pensacola Tennis Association and others.

He attends St. Paul Catholic Church. In addition, Larry, who attended Pensacola Junior College and Florida State University, is an avid tennis player.

His mother, Joyce Johnson Ford lives in Pensacola, as well as his brother Michael L. Johnson and two nieces Amber and Molly Johnson.
