Sherri F. Myers

Council Member
District 2

Sherri Myers was elected to represent District 2 in November, 2010. District 2 is the Uptown of Pensacola and the city’s central business core with the largest workforce in the City that includes popular Cordova Mall, many businesses, restaurants, commercial rental property, Sacred Heart Hospital as well as many lovely communities that are in close proximity to the core business area. Sherri represents the City Council on the Bay Area Resource Council, and the Florida/Alabama Transportation Planning Organization.

Sherri received a BA Degree from Vanderbilt Peabody College of Education and Human Development, Nashville Tennessee and a JD Degree from the University of District of Columbia David Clark School of Law, Washington, D.C. She holds licenses with the Florida Bar, the Kentucky Bar and Tennessee Bar (inactive) and has been admitted to practice in three Federal District Courts.

Sherri served 3 years on the Escambia-Pensacola Human Relations Commission, serves on the Bicycle Pedestrian Committee of the Transportation Planning Organization and has organized and served on the Escambia County Mass Transit Citizens Advisory Committee. She is passionate about working throughout the Pensacola community to improve compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
