Civil Service Department
The Civil Service Board is an independent body established by the Florida Legislature for the purpose of supervising and executing the provisions in the City of Pensacola’s Civil Service Act, which establishes methods for employment, promotion, discipline, and discharge for classified service employees.
The department is committed to providing quality service to both internal (City departments and employees) and external customers (general public), with regard to recruitment, employment, promotion, discipline, and discharge.
To obtain employment information, you may visit our office, located on the fourth floor of City Hall, located at 222 West Main Street (corner of Main and Spring Streets) in downtown Pensacola.
