Public Works and Facilities Department

The mission of the Public Works and Facilities Department is to provide courteous and quality service, while maintaining the city's infrastructure (parks, facilities, streets, sidewalks, stormwater systems, street lighting, parking facilities and traffic control devices).

Major Goals

  • Protect the city's investment in its roadway drainage and sidewalk facilities through the planning, implementation and administration of maintenance, inspection and improvement programs.
  • Address stormwater problems related to both flooding and water quality issues.
  • Protect the city's natural resources in a manner compatible with policies, codes and regulations.
