Job Description: 

This is supervisory and administrative work, and skilled work in the operation of specialized equipment.  This employee plans, directs, and coordinates the work of technical and non-professional employees, and works alongside subordinate employees. Work involves the application of knowledge and skill in planning, facilitating and coordinating the loading and unloading import and export cargo, warehouse and outside cargo storage and physical distribution of such cargo by rail or truck transportation.

Requires: 

High school graduation and six (6) years of related experience (i.e., warehouse management, multi-facility inventory tracking and management, facility utilization planning, distribution center management, or related work).   One year of related education from an accredited college or university can be substituted for each year of experience lacking.  Certification in Supply Chain Logistics can be substituted for one year of experience.


Must possess a Florida Class “E” driver license; within one year of employment, must obtain and maintain Florida certifications to apply herbicides and pest control chemicals.   Must acquire and maintain U.S. Transportation Security Administration and Florida seaport security clearances as well as acquiring future licenses or certification required by law or regulation.
