Ericka Burnett (850-435-1606) serves the City Council and the City Manager and is custodian of the official records of the City. Agendas for City Council Meetings, held the second and fourth Thursday of each month, and City Council Committee Meetings, held the Monday preceding the Council Meeting, are available in the City Clerk’s office. Minutes of City Council Meetings are transcribed verbatim and copies can be obtained at the Clerk’s Office.


The City Clerk is responsible for:

  • Attending, recording and transcribing minutes of all meetings of City Council
  • Preparing and distributing the City Council agendas
  • Supervising the Municipal Election for the City Council
  • Supervising annual elections for City Employees
  • Administers process for citizen appointments to the various boards, authorities and commissions for the City of Pensacola
  • Maintaining all official records and documents such as deeds to City property,contracts, easements, agreements
  • Preparation of legal advertisements and recording documents in accordance with State law
  • Signing and sealing all official City documents
