"To maximize the potential of children and adults with physical disabilities through sport and healthy lifestyle."

Through a partnership with BlazeSports America, a national non-profit organization,  the City of Pensacola's Parks and Recreation Department now offers sports programs for children and adults with physical disabilities such as paraplegia, quadraplegia, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, amputations, neurological and visual impairments.  All sports are offered at the novice or intermediate level for disabled athletes. These seasonal sports are offered at various city community centers and recreation facilities and are instructed by trained professionals and volunteers. Adapted sports include wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, adaptive swimming, power soccer, and indoor boccia.  Please call (850) 426-2557 for for more details!!!!
