Melinda Crawford
Director
- Joined the staff of the Pensacola Gulf Coast Regional Airport in August of 2002 as the Assistant Director responsible for the airport’s finances, grant and contract administration, property acquisition, and construction projects.
- Appointed as the Interim Airport Director on May 15, 2009 and later appointed the Airport Director on December 29, 2009.
- Prior airport experience included two years as Director of Finance and Administration with the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport and approximately five years as Director of Administration/ Finance for Panama City-Bay County International Airport.
- Also have over thirteen years of prior property management and marketing, and accounting experience.
- Successfully completed all three phases of the American Association of Airport Executive’s accreditation process on April 28, 2007, and in so doing, earned the distinction of Accredited Airport Executive, A.A.E. Presently, less than 10% of the nation’s airport executives have achieved this designation.
- Earned a “M.B.A” and “B.S. in Accounting” from Florida State University.
- Born in Dothan, Alabama, but grew up in Pensacola.
- Graduate of Escambia High School.
